Dr Asakpa was a true support for me in my time of need when I felt like all the doctors I had spoken to before didn’t care. Dr Asakpa listened to me and truly cared and wanted to help me. I never felt a burden or just another number which helped me to overcome my illness and start my life again. I am truly grateful for the support Dr Asakpa gave me and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking help for mental health issues.

Dr Asakpa has a reassuring, caring manner that put me at ease despite never having had an ADHD assessment before. She is a great active listener, and was able to take notes and manage the pace of the assessment so that everything I mentioned was noted down. Dr Asakpa communicated clearly over the videocall and it meant that there were very few occasions that I needed to ask her to repeat what she had said. Dr Josephine Asakpa provided excellent patient care; she interacted with me on an individual basis and I felt that she was assessing me as a whole person within my familial and social backgrounds. She explained my diagnosis and the treatment options available to me in a clear way that was easy for me to digest and remember. She also gave me space to add any comments for anything I felt we had not covered when I answered the questions, and I appreciated that a lot.

Josephine was an angel. I was extremely nervous about my assessment, but she immediately made me feel comfortable and safe. She listened to me, explained everything she was doing, and made sure to assert my boundaries. I would recommend her to anybody looking for a professional diagnoses.

My experience with this doctor was brilliant, she was kind and considerate. She was willing to listen to what I had to say, she was compassionate in her approach at all times. She wanted to know ever detail of my past to help with diagnosis, which I think Is great, I’ve not had to best experience previously and felt people haven’t listened, so it felt good to have someone listen. When explaining to her about my past experiences she showed understanding and had answers and help to offer, she made me feel comfortable so I didn’t have no trouble opening up and talking to her about my past and the parts of my life I was ashamed of. She had nothing but praise for me and explained about how well I had done with going through my life so long without a diagnosis up until now. That made me feel like I had achieved something even though I’m not in the best place in my life right now, I was just grateful for the diagnosis and positive care given at the same time. I would highly recommend Dr Asakpa
