There are no words that I can think of to adequately describe this doctor. I stupidly thought that when you visit a doctor, you would expect to receive a reassuring conversation and an action plan. But I was so wrong, what I received was a list of what Dr Burt wasn't going to do. My suggestions were laughed at, I was left feeling humiliated, belittled and degraded. I even lowered myself to pleading, but it appeared to fall on deaf ears. Dr Burt clearly lacks compassion, understanding and empathy. Gone are the days of the great bedside manner and that feeling that your doctor is like an old friend. Us old people sometimes just need some understanding and support, we certainly do not need to be made to feel like we are worthless aged human being that have no right to expect a little dignity and respect in our old age

dr burt listens and makes sure the patient understands what is happening -he discusses any medication needed and explains what it is for. Dr Burt never makes you feel he is rushing you out of his surgery and puts you at ease. I would recommend this doctor.

A very patronizing and insenitive man. It's appauling that someone in his position does nothing but smirk and laugh through the whole consultation.
