This Doctor is just the best! I needed a cortisone injection for frozen shoulder. I was anxious but once I knew he was going to do it, I felt safe! He has been looking after my family for years. He a great blend of the old family doctor I grew up with who knew you and your family, and the modern day doctor who listens to you and not dismissive or authorative. He has always supported us but guided us. His advice and treatment has always worked out well for us. I know is popular so sometimes he is difficult to get, but our family would always want to be cared for by him! I also really like Dr Aslett

A very experienced, politesse friendly doctor. He thoroughly examined me in regards with the reason I requested the appointment. I attended because of a suspected BCC mole to be removed and he did discover another one upon examination. I had a minor op for both on the day and it went very smoothly. I was explained everything very well in regards of procedure and after care. I cannot think of anything to suggest in regards with improvement.

Dr. McGilligan always takes the time to outline the condition and answer any questions that arise from that information. His easy, engaging manner encourage the feeling that he treats each patient as an individual, about whom he cares. Minor procedures are fully explained before being carried out and his skill while performing them is evident both at the time and during the recovery period. I was referred to Dr. McGilligan initially by the GP surgery in Woodhatch, before it closed. As I'm registered with Wall House Surgery now, I've found that getting an appointment to have CTS steroid injections can be difficult, insofar as every time I need treatment, I have to explain this situation to Reception, wait for checks to be made, then explain again to the next person I speak to. For my most recent appointment, I completed an online application, which was quick, straightforward and soon elicited a call from Dr. McGilligan to arrange a convenient time for the procedure. On attendance at the Surgery, I had to answer Covid related questions at a call point outside the building. In itself, this was no problem, but the audio quality was very poor and crackly, with low volume. I would expect any patient with significantly diminished hearing to struggle to use the system effectively, particularly when traffic noise is considered. Overall, the service received was excellent and all staff have been polite, helpful and understanding.
