Dr Tyrrell-Price is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the BRI. He is a very kind and caring doctor who invests time to listen and understand the patient perspective and understanding of their condition. He is extremely knowledgeable and although an academic, still has the capacity to relate to the impact a chronic disease can have on the patient. He is therefore very clear and involves the patient in his plan for treatment. He has supported me greatly, expediting my treatment to enable me to be reactivated on the organ transplant programme at another Trust. He also liaises frequently with his team of outstanding specialist nurses who are always available and on hand to give advice and refer to Dr T-P when necessary.

What a lovely man! He listened to everything I had to say and provided an explanation of my symptoms and even drew me some pictures to explain why my digestion wasn't working properly. He was very kind and sympathetic to my situation and has arranged tests, but in the mean time has prescribed much needed medication to help me feel better and is going to arrange referrals to other specialties who can also help me. Thank you!

Dr J.T-P. has my full confidence. Listened to my symptom description and arranged endoscopy. He explained the ensuing procedure well with illustration after polyps with high grade dysplasia (pre-cancerous cells)found. Good follow up with reassurance that he was pleased with success of the intervention. I'm grateful for ongoing reviews and can't fault his clinic.

This is the most amazing doctor I have come across. My illness is rare and there is hardly any research into it. There is no physical reason for a lot of my symptoms but Dr Tryell price listens to everything I have to say, believes everything I say and does his best to help in everyway. If there is a problem he gets me into hospital right away to try and sort. He gives plenty of time to you and doesn't make you feel belittled or rushed. I couldn't reccomend anyone more. While I was in for so long I saw a lot of student doctors and every single one said how great he is with them to. He has a fantastic bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable.
