I think Dr Rylance is a very good doctor. I find him to be professional, caring and always helpful. He listens well to your perceived ailments, discusses his diagnosis and then the best way he thinks it can be treated.
He has a quiet, dignified approach and comes across as someone you can trust and talk to.
Not good with visiting people at home with nervous illness or calling back as patient requested. Maybe ok with other patients with other illnesses but NOT mental illness. Feel sorry if a patient has mental ill health problems wants attention because you will not get a call back. So if someone was feeling suicidal god help you. ?? Judge for your self as every patients are different needs. But he is not a doctor for mental health problems. But i believe he is very good with people with heart issues.
I ended up with a haematoma whilst doing some DIY. I was concerned about a possible infection and got an appointment within 24 Hrs. Dr Rylance confirmed the possible presence of an infection and advised what to do if it spread further. He has a very good manner and listened carefully to my problem. He explained what would happen over the ensuing two months or so and he has been spot on. I found the whole experience, from booking an appointment to leaving the surgery, easy and non-stressful. Brilliant service.
Dr Rylance is always welcoming, listens to my concerns and discusses the way forward.
The doctors at the surgery are supported by a wonderful team of nurses and reception staff. I had an appointment for a blood test yesterday, the nurse was off work but my appointment wasn't cancelled, another member of staff was there with a smile.
The reception staff are also helpful.
I my experience this is an excellent practice
Always welcomed with a smile, listens to the reason I have made an appointment, discussed the symptoms, and suggested treatment. Never feel rushed and my needs are met.
I leave feeling reassured and always with the option of going back should the problem not improve.
