I have had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr J Quinlan on Haygarth ward at the RUH Bath. So after 18 months of being passed from pillar to post and referred to multiple different consultants, I finally was passed to the care of Dr Quinlan. I found that he was very respectful and took the time to listen to all my symptoms and ongoing issues after which he took the time to address all of my concerns. I found he displayed genuine empathy towards me. Only through his treatment have I finally started to improve my condition I can not recommend Dr Quinlan highly enough. .

Having read the two posted reviews, I was apprehensive about attending my appointment. I do not usually write reviews but feel compelled to post this review. My experience under Dr Quinlans care was exceptional. He was extremeley polite and professional, he introduced himself, took time to explain my procedure, listened to my comments and answered my questions. He put me completely at ease, I even laughed during our conversation. He was respectful to the medical team with whom there was an obvious mutual excellent working relationship. He fully explained my results and further recommened procedures. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Dr Johnathan Quinlan, RUH, BATH Whilst in the care of Dr Quinlan, I was recovering from a serious, life threatening admission to the ICU. I was in an extremely vulnerable state and Dr Quinlan proved to be sarcastic, insensitive and inappropriate on many occasions. He made rude, judgmental remarks to me, whilst in the company of female Junior Doctors and failed to respect the sensitive nature of my admission. Dr Quinlan was unprofessional and was negligent throughout my stay on Haygarth Ward.

In my opinion Dr Quinlan did not give me good quality care nor did he listen to me. He spoke over me on more than one occasion. This doctor could definitely benefit from training in bed side manner. He dismissed my comments without giving them proper consideration, he gave me no advice about my condition and made me feel like I was taking him away from patients more worthy of his time.
