Dr Lewis has been my GP for over 16 years , he's direct but very polite and a credit to the NHS, I just wish that you could choose the Dr you see, but in our pandemic times this is not possible. If you want a no nonsense Dr and great after care Dr Lewis is the man to see.

This doctor is always rude. He behaves in a very demeaning manner, he's very cold, not very good at socialising (lack of eye contact seems as though he's dismissive about your queries). He doesn't really offer advice even when I try to push for it and never gives me a diagnoses, he just prescribed medication without any explanation. A doctor should explain what your condition is and give advice on the matter. He is also fatphobic! I have made healthy lifestyle choices and upon being weighed realised I lost a stone, I am very happy about that regardless of the fact that he didn't offer any kind words of encouragement but instead decided to explain the bmi scores to me and tell me that I'm morbidly obese! This same doctor sent me to a health specialist on one occasion because of my weight. The specialist weighed me on a body fat-measuring scale and it revealed that I have very high muscle density and very low visceral fat. I have never been skinny and the bmi is not very applicable to those with high muscle mass!

I logged onto the practice website using my personal log in details at 16:40 looking for an appointment. Their were three available instantly, I went for 17:30. Upon arrival at the surgery greeted by a helpful receptionist. Waiting five minutes seen on time. Dr Lewis was fantastic, could not fault his professionalism, listening intently, helping me understand and move forward with my issue. Long live the NHS, best in the world......

The new web based booking system is fantastic. A really good step forward to simplify the booking process. With regards to Dr Lewis, I have no hesitation is saying that he is my preferred choice when I need to see a doctor and over the past 25 years I have had nothing but great advice and care from him.
