I am an overseas patient who travels twice a year, to the UK to be followed up by Dr.Hughes, following a resection of my trachea after the removal of a malignant tumour and followed by RT at Charing Cross Hospital. He has always given me the time that I needed and answered any questions that I brought with me. Even in the months between follow-ups, if I had any questions or doubts or felt any pain, even pain that was not directly related to the trachea, Dr Hughes has always answered my emails immediately and put my mind at rest or gave me a suggestion on what i ought to do. This I appreciate immensly! What is great about Dr Hughes, I feel, is that he does not take any risks and if there is the slightest doubt about anything he will investigate further.
