I do not think it is an easy task to be a doctor nowadays. So many patients to see each with their own special needs and appt time limited and shortened probably every year as patient numbers increase.I had been attached to the same surgery for many years and when they closed their doors, I reluctantly knew I needed to transfer. What a lucky break that I ended up at Knightsbridge Medical Centre and was assigned to my new doctor Jonathan Hazen .From my very first appt he made me feel so welcomed and comfortable and engaged in a pleasant and professional conversation about my needs and how he could remedy my situation. I have only returned another couple of times, but I can vouch that his manner and attitude are so consistent, friendly and interested; prepared to give advice and answer questions. Though I am fortunate to be generally healthy and happy, it is a comforting and secure thought that I am enrolled with a doctor that I feel a connection with, and could turn to in time of need if ever. It is a shame that human nature is such that one only expresses themselves when they want to complain or in anger, so I hope my complimentary statement breaks that mould. Thank you Suzan Fabricant

My usual doctor was not on duty that day so I took an appointment with the next available doctor. Dr Hazon made me feel completely at ease the second I walked into the room and even though I had a few medical concerns he dealt with each one in such a proficient and thorough way I did not feel in any way rushed and was still within the maximumtime allowed for a patient.

he is a young but very knowledgeable doctor who is not shy to check for the extra sources if he is not fully aware of the situation. For example, I am a breast cancer patient with a history of a thyroid cancer three years ago. I stopped chemo four months ago and in theory should not qualify by NHS standards to receive a FLU jab, but I am on radio therapy now which also effect immune system. He checked the NHS leaflet, and the went to Cancer Research to see what are their recommendations and agreed to get me a vaccination. The same was for the knee. He examined my knee (I had a previous ACL repair in the US due to the skiing accident) after the yesterday fall in the aircraft when I injured my knee. He said let's keep an eye on it, take painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs and come back in a week if the pain doesn't settle by itself and we will do MRI or CT. Solid, weighted, caring approach. I would recommend this doctor.
