The great thing about Dr McGrane and the team at Treliske Hospital is the encouragement to be alive and motivated to do well whilst living with cancer. In all my interactions with the team I never feel that life is terrible, quite the opposite, and I think how extremely lucky I am to have such fantastic cancer services on my doorstep right when I need them. As a patient I really feel that the team are going through my cancer journey just as much as I am and wanting me to do well. I have total confidence that they are doing all the hard work behind the scenes so that all I have to concentrate on is turning up to the appointments, feeding back on how I am doing and they will look after the rest. It really isn't scary having cancer when I'm being looked after by Dr McGrane and the Treliske team, they are very good at bringing the sunshine to the Sunrise Centre at Treliske ;-)

Dr. John McGrane is EXCELLENT. When you’re going through something like cancer, you need a doctor who is kind, patient, considerate, compassionate, professional, a good communicator, a great listener and, most importantly, someone that you trust. Dr. McGrane is all of these things and more. I have been treated by him for many years and even my six years of outpatient care has been phenomenal. The team at The Sunrise Centre is absolutely incredible and they should all be so proud of what they have achieved. I cannot thank them enough!

to me dr John migraine is a living legend been there for me from day one nearly 2 years now listened advised all the way honestly don’t think I could of got through this without his positive guidance all the way as all the staff in the sunrise centre doing a fabulous job can’t thank you enough.

Definitely, I would highly recommend, Dr John McGrane. A doctor who takes great care and consideration regarding, communication, overall wellbeing, and decision making with myself and my family. He listens with undivided attention for something you might comment upon that you may not think is quite significant, because he's always got your back! I never leave a consultation with Dr John McGrane, feeling hopeless.
