Dr John Leahy

I have mental health problems Acute anxiety severe depression and P.T.S.D. When I saw Dr Leahy he was so understanding and I felt calm the rest of the day Dr Leahy phoned to check if I needed me meds cos it was lockdown I told him I was suffering cos I had found my friend dead on 1st april He was so understanding and I felt calm again cos I have low self esteem and felt I must be an ok person for a GP to phone when they didn"y have to. I have heard many nice things about Dr Leahy and it seems that many people want to see him.

I consulted Dr. John Leahy on 1st August. He greeted us cheerfully, introduced himself properly, putting us at ease. He took a careful and full history from me and examined me appropriately. He explained the findings and suggested a possible diagnosis and referred me to the musculoskeletal clinic for a specialist opinion. At this consultation on I was advised to have a blood test which was booked for the next day. I had to cancel this because of being unwell. It proved quite difficult to rebook the blood test, but Dr. Leahy was extremely helpful and quick in sorting it out the day after.
