I have been under Dr Bowen’s care for about 8 years. He’s been amazing with me, listens to what I have to say. I always have a thorough examination at every consultation. I have contacted him between consultations if I’ve had a query and nothing has been to much trouble. His secretary, Mel, is helpful, she’s a mediator not a blocker and I have very much appreciated that. If anyone is perfect, this is the person My condition is classed neurosarcoidosis brain and spine, which is not listed below

Dr Bowen was very pleasant and courteous throughout my appointment, he asked questions and listened attentively to my reply. I felt at ease throughout the appointment. He explained what he thought was the conclusion to my symptoms, with a copy of any recommended medication and advice would be would be past on to my GP

I later learned that Dr. Bowen is a military man, this may explain his direct manner. Generally uncaring with a sense of disbelieving, diagnosis was in the right ballpark but ultimately wrong, thankfully we moved area otherwise MS might have gone undiagnosed for much longer. I would recommend to anyone visiting him that you write down a list of specific symptoms to refer to & be prepared to exaggerate to be taken seriously.
