Mr English is a great Consultant because he knows what he is talking about and shared this information without it sounding like gibberish. He told me exactly what was going to happen to me and why and his confidence was catching! He has a no nonsense way of speaking which I find better than some who may wrap information up in ways meant to soften it but in reality this does not help at all so I am glad he does not do this. He also seems to have a kind streak however, when I was on the bed ready to go into theatre I was scared (and drugged!) and firing questions at the nurses so he came to see me and calmed me by explaining things again. As he left he tweaked my big toe and said we'll get you sorted. That small gesture almost fatherly really helped me to feel safe. Overall I was very pleased to have had him as my consultant and would recommend him to anyone who needs gynaelogical treatment.
