Having been diagnosed a few years ago with a life-changing medical condition, it was a great relief to meet Dr Rajkanna and immediately to feel assured that I was going to be well looked after under her guidance. Dr Rajkanna has always been ready to answer any problems and has monitored the dosages of my medication very carefully, even calling me on several occasions to see whether I was improving after my dosages had been changed. My consultations with her were always very thorough and, with her lively and bubbly character, really quite enjoyable, despite the seriousness of what we were discussing. Having recently moved house, I am now out of Dr Rajkanna’s area and will transfer to another Endocrinologist. I am, therefore, pleased to be able to write this review to express how really grateful I am to Dr Rajkanna for being such an excellent consultant - and for looking after me so well.

From my diagnosis till today, Dr Rajkanna has treated me with the utmost care and consideration. She has given me all the necessary advice and information that I need as well as listening to me and answering any questions that I have. She has remained in regular contact with me and telephoned me in person after each of my blood tests to discuss the results and has also seen me in clinic at Stamford and Peterborough. She has sent letters confirming the results of my blood tests to me and to my GP and has always been approachable as have her secretaries. I have a great fear of all things medical: hospitals, doctors etc and get very worked up; Dr Rajkanna has always put me at my ease and it has been a pleasure to see her. My only fear now as I am being discharged is that I will not receive as good care from my local GP surgery as I have had from Dr Rajkanna and Peterborough hospital.

Dr Rajkanna has looked after me so well. She has shown concern for me and helped me manage my condition. She is also very good at listening and has been very helpful in advising me, as to who to get advice from for other conditions I have, as well as arranging a scan. I am very grateful to her for her support and advice.

I have been seeing Dr.Rajkanna for several months due to an adrenal tumour and my Type 1 diabetes. She has been in constant contact with my wife checking my bloods and blood pressure as due to a problem with my lung which we are still awaiting action on it is making it difficult for the Endocrinology Dept. She is absolutely brilliant at answering our calls and keeping in touch. It is so nice to find a Doctor who really seems to care especially when I feel I have been let down so many times in the past she is a breath of fresh air.

Dr Rajkanna has helped me with a problem that I had been struggling with for some time that I could not resolve. On my last review at the end she asked me was there anything else I wanted to ask, I asked if she could tell me who I needed to speak to about my taking of Alendronic Acid and needing dental treatment she told me that it was Rheumatology and in her letter to the GP requested that I be referred to them at my local hospital. It has taken nearly a year but at last this problem is being sorted which it would not have been if Dr Rajkanna had not asked me the question, listened to me and then made the request. In todays phone consultation Dr Rajkanna went through my current medication, checking my routine with steroids, steroid blue card and rescue injection in date. I had recently experienced difficulty in getting the hydrocortisone injections for my GP pharmacy and they had to write a script for me to get them from Boots the chemist. She told me that if I have this difficulty again that I could contact the Endocrine Team to see if they can help which is reassuring. I am so grateful for Dr Rajkammas support with my steroid regimen and for making this request for Rheumatology as my dental problems whilst on Alendronic Acid should now be sorted by November. I first met Dr Rajkanna when being admitted to Peterborough Hospital after an Adrenal Crisis January 2019
