Dr Jessica Webb

I found Dr Webb after a very uncomfortable and frustrating experience with another cardiologist whereby I was misdiagnosed and needed a second opinion on my condition. She was a breath of fresh air and I found her to be attentive and clear, giving me lots of time and information. She was thorough and concise and I felt immediately at ease with her diagnosis. When she sent the follow up letter, the level of detail was impressive and I have already recommended her to two other people with heart complaints who have also been very pleased with the level of care and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable cardiologist.

I saw Dr Webb at Ashtead Hospital last December following an acute bout of pneumonia which caused my heart to go into A/F and a silent heart attack. She took a very detailed history and immediately arranged for the appropriate tests and drug regime to stabilise and improve my health. She always communicated extremely well in a clear and positive way - showing a lot of empathy. She advised us of the test results and the plan going forward shortly thereafter. Her attention to detail and understanding of the patient’s and their spouse's concerns was so refreshing. She has that rare capacity to gain the total trust of the patient that the plan going forward is correct and positive . An absolute credit to her profession and I would certainly recommend Dr Webb to anyone who needs to see a Consultant Cardiologist. I had waited 4+ months for the NHS to sort out a heart condition which was slowly deteriorating. My children were concerned and felt I should get advice. We found details of Dr Webb and saw her at Ashtead Hospital on November 1st. Unfortunately, my surgery had not sent my complete medical records, but Dr Webb obtained them later that day. She was concerned and phoned me at 7am the next day and told me to go as quickly as possible to Epsom hospital. She also Emailed a substantial written report. The result was that I had a pacemaker fitted at Epsom hospital on Friday 4th November and was able to come home the same evening. Although I was only her patient for such a short time she couldn't have done more.

Having discovered that I have a heart problem, I saw Dr Webb at Ashtead Hospital. She listened to my concerns intently and immediately arranged for the appropriate tests, advising me of the results and plan going forward shortly thereafter. Her attention to detail and understanding of the patient’s anxieties is exemplary. She has the rare capacity to engender total trust in her abilities. I feel privileged to have been under the care of Dr Webb. She is possibly the most professional, knowledgeable and courteous doctor I have ever encountered. An absolute credit to her profession.

I was very worried when I found out that I may have a potential heart problem and needed a diagnosis. As the NHS waiting list was so long, I decided to have this done privately. I met Dr Webb at Ashtead Hospital and felt at ease from the very beginning and knew I would be looked after. She was very thorough and listened intently to my concerns and family's health history. By the end of that same week, she had organised, and I had completed all the relevant tests required. Exactly one week after our first meeting I had my follow up appointment when she explained all my results and was extremely reassuring. She is very professional but friendly and down to earth and said I could contact her if I had any concerns at all. I did this on one occasion and she responded within five minutes. I would recommend her to anyone, she is a credit to the medical profession.

From the very first consultation with Dr. Webb I felt I was in safe hands. This is because she immediately made me feel at ease with her charming, likeable and professional manner. The plan of action she devised to investigate and deal with my problem was impressively comprehensive and when some ensuing test findings were not what I would have wished for she delivered the news honestly but with appropriate empathy. She kept me fully informed at all times and quite clearly has a genuine desire to do the very best for her patient; I consider myself very fortunate to be under her care. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anybody wishing to have the best possible attention for their problem; you will not be disappointed.

I have seen Dr. Webb this week for very high blood pressure and a possible heart problem. During the appointment and testing at Ashtead Hospital she was courteous, understanding and extremely professional in her approach. The results of the tests were clearly explained and I feel in very safe hands for any treatment that may now be required.

impossible to improve – the very kindest most caring Doctor I have ever experienced in my ninety years! She extended her personal care well out of hours on a number of occasions, and simply nothing is too much trouble - such a lovely person. In the present "lock down" situation I had a personal 'phone call from her just to make sure all was well! and instructions to contact her immediately if help was needed. I am very grateful for the treatment I have received, which has proved most successful.

I felt very comfortable putting my well-being in Dr. Jessica Webb's very capable hands. From my first, unhurried and thorough consultation (mid Jan 2020) to post surgery aftercare (Feb 2020 ongoing), Dr Webb has been there with an extremely caring & professional attitude. The oversight of the whole process has been exceptional. Thanks to Dr Webb's great network of consultants & surgeons, I was able to have my treatment very quickly. Whilst waiting for my MRI, Dr Webb had the potential angioplasty lined up. When it was clear that stents wouldn't be enough, within 24 hours I had the first consultation with my surgeon. I strongly recommend Dr Jessica Webb.
