Make eye contact with patient. Don't interrupt patients when they are speaking, give us a chance to speak and get our words out. Put your pen down and Listen to patient. Explain test results. Instead of emphasising what we need to do, kindly ask us first if we already do that. When you told me to 'stop' my medication, by stopping immediately there would be rebound problems for me. Instead you should have advised me to taper down my medication with Gps help. Spoken to like a 6 year old not 60 year old female. Am a 'retired health care worker', and Cardiology patient for 30 years!
