I had a consultation with this cheerful understanding doctor who listened to my problem and offered me a way forward. He was reassuring and I felt comfortable and relaxed in his care.
I had a cardiac arrest and a stent fitted by doctor ment , I needed another stent 6 weeks later, I suffer severe anxiety and after a angina attack ended up back on ward 6 after 5 weeks, doctor ment fully understood that due to my anxiety I wasn’t coping and kept me in to to the second stent , doctor ment is a fabulous caring doctor, both stents done with a lot of reassurance and compaction.
Didn't Listen to me at all, Found doctor to be rude, very uninterested and extremely unhelpful. Was made to feel like a silly girl making up symptoms. Follow up appointment currently 8 months late, will be looking for another doctor,

When you told me to 'stop' my medication, by stopping immediately there would be rebound problems for me. Instead you should have advised me to taper down my medication with Gps help.
Spoken to like a 6 year old not 60 year old female.

As a nervous patient, Dr Ment showed me particular and personal concern, allaying my fears in a reassuring manner through an holistic approach. Attentiveness and clarity to all aspects of my treatment made my stay in hospital as supportive as it could possibly be.
