I have been a patient of Dr Palmers since 2015 and will only see Dr Palmer as she managed to sort out the chronic pain I had been suffering from due to other doctors at the surgery being either dismissive or just totally closing their ears to what I was trying to tell them of my symptoms .Doctor Palmer immediately understood my difficulties and by 2016 the pain from endometriosis I had suffered for years under other gP’s was forgotten. However there were complications which due to the long years where other conditions had been ignored or neglected .Suddenly tests were coming in fast and it was becoming apparent that endometriosis was the least of my concerns.I felt betrayed by the doctors and staff but still had confidence in Dr Palmer. Unfortunately in the past year or so I have noticed that she is not the doctor she used to be .She has become a clock watcher and does not engage in the same manner.i have spoken to her only once this year and found her much changed.I would have highly recommended her in 2015 but not anymore .What could have happened to make such a bright engaged doctor who was doing such a brilliant job ...I know I personally recommended Dr Palmer to many people over the years and it saddens me to have to tell others of my changed opinion but when the services are under strain it must take a toll. We all exchange notes on who is the best doctor to speak to in confidence ,who listens and tries their best to ease the symptoms or find the right solution or treatment .And I know that one of my neighbours already mentioned to me that she had had a negative experience with Dr Palmer and now I have too.Something I thought I would never say.

Dr Jennifer Palmer is hands down the best Doctor I have ever known, and I would literally trust her with my life. I have considered to be "my" GP since I first saw her almost 2 years ago, and she always treats me with respect, compassion, dignity and also treats me as a person, with her own thoughts and ideas, who likes to make a contribution to her own care. She seems to genuinely care about how I am feeling, and tries to help me in the most appropriate manner dependent on my condition and frame of mind at the time that I see her. I honestly dont know how I could have got through the past 2 years without her help and support. Thank you Dr Palmer, you are quite simply the best.

I don't think it's professional for a Doctor to be wearing a low cut top and / or short skirt. I felt very uncomfortable and awkward - didn't know wear to look and she didn't appear to be listening to what I was asking or saying, this was the first time seeing Dr Palmer. Very disappointed - great surgery and reception staff and nurses, any other doctors I've seen have also been great.

After terrible experiences at the Alvaston Medical centre with other GPS and nurses .Dr Palmer was caring and attentive and took the time to listen as I had a range of difficult symptoms to wade through .I would recommend her very highly.Thank you Dr Palmer.I only wish I had seen Dr Palmer before Dr Archer and Dr Harris. I had my surgery at long last.
