Dr Kimber was unbelievably rude and dismissive of symptoms. Tried to blame memory issues on my period. He then told me i must be autistic or have ADD. I was absolutely disgusted and left in tears.

I have been seeing Dr Kimber for many years with my son who has severe learning disabilities and epilepsy. I have always got on well with him and like his manner. He is willing to discuss issues and is open to my opinion. He says if he doesn’t know all the answers and will research to find out. He has helped my son greatly over the years.

I have seen Dr Kimber twice now, I am so frustrated with his ‘care’. His attitude is flippant and dismissive, he laughs at serious debilitating symptoms, and makes wrongful assumptions. His follow up letters are vague and pretty useless, my GP wrote back to him asking for clarification which was still no help for her or me. He doesn’t ask questions about symptoms, he looked at my medical record and saw I had a kidney stone and declared “oh something else wrong with you!”!! I’m going to ask to see another neurologist for ongoing care because Dr Kimber is impossible to communicate with sensibly. I think he is probably a very clever man, but his social and communication skills are shocking, and they’re kinda important in his role!

He is very dismissive and does not listen. I have met him a few times privately and NHS. You then get copies of letters sent to GP that are confusing for both me and GP. I think he needs to improve his social and communication skills. Apologies I have never written a negative review before but hope it will help.
