I attended TIA clinic after being referred by my GP. I cannot express how impressed I was with the efficiency with which the clinic was run. Dr Imam's team are outstanding, very caring, and put me totally at ease during what could have been an anxious few hours. I really felt safe in their care. Communication and explanation of my health problems was very thorough and I understood what was to happen henceforth and that I would have a further appointment in four to five month's time. I was given an explanation regarding what medication I was to take from hereon in and why I needed to take it. I was told I would receive an appointment to have a 24 hour ECG. Javed listened to me attentively and after discussion re my family history of TIAs and antiphospholipid syndrome he requested further blood tests which included a test for this syndrome. Javed is a wonderfully caring person and West Suffolk Hospital are very fortunate to have him on their staff ... and the patients who depend upon his knowledge and care can rest safe in his hands. Thank you Dr Imam. I am so grateful for your care.

Having had a TIA, I was admitted and the care that I received was exemplary. I was seen by Dr Imam who took time to explain what had happened and what was going to happen, which helped to put my mind at ease. He was polite and considerate at all times and I consider myself fortunate to have received such excellent care and attention, both while in the hospital and at a subsequent out patient visit.

Dear Dr. Iman, I do not normally do tick boxes/star credits etc. as they invariably fail to register important points and possibly misrepresent others! So saying the above does reflect sincerely on my experience with you yesterday. I felt that I was in good, competent, caring hands. I never felt patronized; I always felt that I was being listened to; I felt too that there was a splendid team spirit in the stroke unit. Everyone appeared to be busy, the unit was exceptionally clean; it was good to see people really washing their hands "by the book". Small touches such as the jug of water available to waiting patients; reading matter; a well prepared snack lunch; tea/coffee etc to order. I could not have had a better experience in the London Clinic! Thank you, Mr Mansoor and your very kind and attentive nurse/receptionist, Jessica, for making my visit so relaxed and reassuring.

Took great care of me after my stroke. Got me MRI scan within 15 minutes of arriving at hospital. Throughout my stay in hospital he visited me in the stroke unit on a regular basis to reassure me and answer any questions and concerns.

My encounter with Dr. Imam was an extremely positive one. I would feel more than confident in recommending him to others. Within a very short time of meeting Dr. Imam in the Emergency Department at the West Suffolk hospital he had earned my full trust. He was attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, competent and, above all else, a calm and reassuring presence at a time of great anxiety. Thank you, Dr. Imam for your excellent patient-centred care. Kind regards, Brian Watts.
