Janet Shek does not consider the patients needs. She seems to practice a belief that the patient should think of the doctors needs first before the patient. I found it frustrating that I could not get through to her that I cannot help having a long standing physical condition, not a lifestyle condition that she seemed to think I had!

Dr Shek reminds me of a family doctor of times gone by. Her 'bedside' manner is totally warm and friendly - unique in this day and age! Her instant ability to listen, respond instantly with that reassuring eye contact, and give superb diagnosis and advice, in this smiling friendly atmosphere, is something I have not encountered in a GP clinic for several decades ( I am 71 yrs ). I feel so lucky to be a patient linked to that practice! You are truly inspiring, Dr Shek! Eileen Lorimer
