I decided to take the advice of Dr Wijeyekoon after dealing with 4 months of acute pain in my shoulders. Upon my initial consultation with the consultant, I found him to be extremely attentive, listened to all my concerns and immediately set upon investigating and identifying the issue. I can't recommend this Doctor enough for Rhematolgy issues.

Over many years I have received exceptionally good care. I have been listened to and solutions have been sought and found which have not only kept me mobile and active but have improved my overall well-being despite challenging problems and adverse conditions during the pandemic. Dr Wijeyekoon encourages self-help in parallel with medication which helps boost morale and self-esteem. An enormous thank you for dedicated care received.

The main reason I am giving a big undoubted 5 stars for my Consultant Rheumatologist Dr Wijeyekoon is for his exceptional thoroughness. He really has considered possible alternative treatments with considerable care for checking all possible side effects. I really do feel so confident that I am getting the best possible treatment for the various issues that my arthritis gives me. Big thanks! Hazel Heath

I have been seeing Dr Wijeyekoon for a number of years now for Ankylosing Spondylitis and I am now relatively pain having responded well to the medication he has prescribed for me.. He is a very professional, kind, caring and understanding. He always explains things clearly and is easy to understand, inviting questions in return too. I find his consultations relaxed and under no time pressure. I am very happy to be under his care.
