My experience couldn't have been better.
Tests and scans were carried out on the same day and on time with results being passed to Dr. Wilkinson to evaluate.
Dr. Wilkinson made me feel at ease and answered my questions as well as offering information about the progression of my AF as I age.
If I have any future concerns, he is happy to discuss them through my GP.
On the day, I wasn't feeling the effects of my AF, possibly because my tests were clear.
However, a week or so later I became unusually anxious and short tempered when my heart was racing. I researched AF and was strangely relieved to find this is common!
So discussing the emotional side of AF would be helpful, but as I've said, I was fine on the day.
