I saw Dr Stallard during the pandemic for a re-diagnosis and treatment via the ADHD Clinic. We had ongoing appointments for 4-5 months, if I remember right. My experience with Dr Stallard was completely wonderful and a breath of fresh air. Despite the length and somewhat exhausting nature of such thorough history and diagnosing, it was a breeze to get through with him. He was incredibly attentive and thorough during every appointment. He gave me ample time to answer each question, so even with my ADHD-induced rambles and occasional getting off track I felt confident he understood me and had all the information needed - something that has been a massive challenge for me in healthcare settings in the past. He was very informative and clear and most of all, I felt respected not just as a patient, but as a person. I felt he tailored the information to my (somewhat beyond basic) knowledge level, and I felt like a collaborator/active participant in my treatment. I felt there was mutual trust, which was such a refreshing experience. He was diligent and prompt with including me in any reports/communications regarding the diagnosis and treatment with my GP and provided me with some great further resources as part of the 'education about ADHD' part of treatment. He made himself available between our reviews as well as after should any issues arise. Oh, and needless to say he nailed it with the medication - totally life-changing. Even relatives who don't quite understand/might be dubious about ADHD are marvelling at the difference. I was reassured by the reviews here before my first appointment with him, and wanted to add my own. :-) Honestly, nothing but praise for Dr Stallard.
