An outstanding professional, who demonstrate empathy and understanding and makes you feel like an individual. I am lucky that I do not visit the surgery very often but Dr Oliver has the ability to remember you and listens to your concerns with patience and understanding, which inspires trust and confidence. He has been my family Dr for 17 years and I trust his medical judgements. I also appreciated the opportunity to have a 7:40 am appointment recently and the many follow telephone calls during the evenings. A hardworking, professional gentleman.

In the past I have had to visit many GPs for myself and my family and I would put Dr Jim Oliver at the top of the list for being the most caring knowledgeable and understanding GP I have ever been to. From personal knowledge I can truly say he will leave no stone unturned to get to the root of the problem.

My family have had Dr Oliver as our GP for the last 17yrs, and during that time he has ALWAYS been concerned and doesn't make you feel you are wasting his time, even though he has a full surgery waiting to see him. When my husband died of a rare infection, Dr Oliver got the hospital report and explained to us what had caused this to happen, after his working hours. A Rare GP and human being, he goes further than the extra mile, and is totally committed to every patient as though you are his only one. He is one in a million and we do not want to lose him.

Jim is not only exceptionally competent but also an extremely popular GP in the local aea. He has always made me feel part of the decision process regarding treatment options and explains all those options clearly. He is a very patient listener and I don't remember ever feeling rushed through appointments. No matter how many patients he may have seen that day, he has always given me the impression that he is happy to be where he is and doing what he does. A rare and very caring individual all round.

If you moving to/in or around Uckfield, east Sussex - hunt this Doctor out and get him as your GP - He is Great! Professional, caring and by far the best doctor i have ever seen in my life time.
