Dr Maxwell has been my Rheumatologist for well over a decade. He is totally dedicated to his profession, and I am 100% confident in his care and decision making with regards to my treatment plan. He discusses in depth any ‘new treatments’ that he feels may benefit me, but ultimately leaves the final decision to me, therefore I never feel pressurised.
I was most disappointed when Dr Maxwell left my previous hospital. However, I soon remedied the situation by ‘following him’ to Sheffield Hallamshire. Undoubtedly, that was the best decision I have ever made. Only people who suffer from a chronic health condition will understand what it means to have a Consultant who is competent, caring and ‘knows his stuff.’
