Dr Maggs is a fantastic consultant.
He listens and makes you feel at ease. I trust him implicitly.
I have acute alcoholic hepatitis which was diagnosed in Sep 2017 by Dr Maggs.
His care and experience have kept me alive. It is now March 2019 and I am still here.
It has been a struggle, in and out of Stoke Mandeville Hospital on a regular basis (ward 17) The staff on the ward are also fantastic, they make no judgement, they want to make you better in the best way possible for you. Each individual needs care in different ways.
I have no hesitation that I am still here today because of Dr Maggs and his Consultant team and also the staff in ward 17 who are not praised enough.
