A doctor who is friendly and open about all things, advice is offered not forced onto the patient. Makes time to have a little chat where possible. Obviously enjoys his work!

James Howarth is enthusiastic and well informed of any new advances in his field.Consultation with him leaves the patient satisfied they are receiving the best medical expertise available.
This type of young doctor is much needed by the NHS.

Dr Howarth has always come across as a very caring and empathetic doctor, he never talks down to his patients and has a great sense of humour which always helps to make a patient feel at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting great care.

we always ask to see Dr Howarth as he always listens to everything we say regarding any health worries we may have.We find him very pleasant in his manner, and as he is a young man, we feel he may be more in touch with the latest medical matters.
Whenever we have seen him, we always leave his consulting room with a lightness of spirit.
