Speaking from my personal experience of being under long term medical care I consider Dr James Booth to be an exceptionally wonderful doctor. Always friendly and very understanding and always takes the time to listen. I consider this man to be absolutely commendable for the care i have received and for his approach to my personal medical matters. Melbourne house surgery in itself does suffer from some long waiting times and some difficulties at times in getting appointments when required. People are queueing up outside the surgery in the mornings before opening time to ensure an appointment as often by the time you get through on the phone all the appointments for the day have already gone so possibly there is a need for more doctors to the ratio of patients so they can reduce waiting times . Apart from that one glitch its a nice surgery with pleasant staff and Dr James is worth waiting for .

Maybe to employ more doctors at the surgery so to keep waiting times down on occations i have been seen later than expected. That said, this to me , means that the doctor has spent the time he requires to get to a diagnosis correct, so i would much rather wait in the surgery until he is ready to see me safe in the knowledge that he will spend the required time with me also. i cannot praise the staff highly enough as they do a great job.
