You never have to wait for an appointment at this surgery. You can book online if you want an appointment for the following week, sometimes even the next day if you get in early enough. The receptionists are always polite, they are NEVER rude and unhelpful as so many gp receptionists are. I can only put this down to a superlative gp team and surgery manager. The GPs all listen to you and give good advice and help. Dr. James Booth is the GP I see most often and is kind, helpful, listens and more importantly remembers. I can't recommend this surgery highly enough.

Although a very busy practice, Dr Booth makes time to listen, ask relevant questions and is able to suggest a course of action that I was happy with. I feel I can discuss anything with him (even the embarrassing stuff) which I have not always felt able to do with my previous doctor where I used to live, which meant I would ignore it and hope it would go away, which it didn't and ended up getting worse - not with Dr Booth, he makes everything seem simpler and is able to explain the complexities of the human body and why it behaves the way it does in a language I understand. A real credit to his profession.
