I saw this GP in relation to a prescription renewal for antidepressants. I was also experiencing serious pains in the upper right quadrant and feeling nauseous at time. Nothing helped but being sick. I explained the symptoms and asked whether this was related to the antidepressants; they didn't do any check up and told me that it probably was and I should make the decision as to whether or not they're worth it. Six months later I saw another GP who immediately ordered a CT scan (we found gallstones) and blood tests for infections. They also gave me anti acid medication in case it was caused by the antidepressants. I was very disappointed by the care received on that day and this prompted me to change GPs.
