Good professiona conduct, empathic, listens to questions, never hurrying to finish the consultation. Constructive suggestion only one: more time allocated to appointments.

Very professional but empathetic. Listens and understands the questions I ask and hasn't ever made me feel like a "layman" in her responses. With regards to constructive suggestions I only have one, that the time allowed for each appointment should be longer, but this is only in an ideal world.

I find Dr Cockell to be very attentive and understanding. She really listens and is empathetic. You feel like you are being given all the time in the world, even though she is very efficient. Of course, she is very popular, so it's not that easy to get an appointment with her...

Dr Cockell is always supportive, friendly patient and understanding. I value her advice and trust her treatments totally. She is a great listener, and has always been so helpful, for example being willing to phone if I request it, and taking my holidays into account when suggesting treatments. She is very up to date in her knowledge and very reassuring. She explains clearly what treatments and tests will involve and takes account of my fears in a way that never makes me feel stupid ( I have a phobia about blood). She also has a good knowledge of complementary medicine and was particularly helpful with hormonal issues. In the past she also treated my son when he was going through a very difficult physical and psychological time at school and referred him immediately to the right specialist, who successfully treated him. She was so reassuring, was clear from the start that he would get better, and identified exactly what was needed. This was not the case with another doctor at Farley Road who was dismissive and virtually said my son would have to grow out of it. My son is now a happy, secure and successful young man.
