The doctor took great care to listen to everything I had to say and answered all of my questions. He was also very reassuring with the procedure. He also referred me for everything possible to try and get to the bottom of the problem.

Dr young is an asset to your hospital. A great listener a great explainer and has a great sense of humour. And not rude and abrupt like the previous consultant that I saw in ENT!

Today was my first visit to ENT. I was seen as an urgent referral and was apprehensive. I felt comfortable & listened to by Mr Young. I left appointment feeling confident about any ongoing appointments & treatments required.

I am so disappointed with Worthing ENT DEPARTMENT! I have had an urgent referral via my GP due to dizziness, right sided facial/sinus pain, right ear pain with smelly discharge and on off toning and hearing loss in right ear! This consultant wouldn’t even see me sent me a short sweet letter saying it’s not ENT related and he won’t be giving me an appointment! Tried speaking to his manager who said said the consultant won’t see me as it’s just dizziness! I asked if she could tell him it’s my sinus and ear and I have had 5 antibiotics which are not shifting the infection! Her reply was “ I could but I’m not going to be far to busy” and it’s nothing to do with ent! I have never been spoke to like this! Even PALS ARE SHOCKED with the way I have been treated! Not sure how you can refuse to see a patient that you have not even investigated why they are getting the problems! My cardiac doctor told me this is ENT RELATED AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED! Now I’m looking at going private as can’t live with these symptoms any longer
