My husband is a cardiovascular/cardiothoracic patient with mechanical valve and after emergency dissection type A operation with still ongoing aorta enlargement. He have different mix of medication for his blood pressure as it is only way it works. Reviewed by Kings College Hospital. He had recently high blood pressure even if he takes his blood pressure medication. Called GP Surgery which already receptionist informed at 2.00pm all GP list is full I have to call following day to make an telephone appointment with him. My husband called following day and he got shifted to the Pharmacist.??!!! Now how can Pharmacist assess his case??? How safe it is in his medical conditions?? He didn't ask for paracetamol,,,,, now this time I called back / wife and advised again following day to fill a form online with ,,not satisfied with Pharmacist appointment,,. This would be the 3 day and my husband still have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE!!!! no advise given just talking to the lovely receptionist lady who is already tired of my complaining.. Who have time and patience to deal with this on/off game when life is under the line. Obviously now if A&E will be contacted or his cardiothoracic team at Kings College Hospital again is not right because hi is outpatient. No wonder why Hospitals are over clouded!!! How safe is to leave cardiovascular patient with enlargement of aorta which is reviewed yearly with High blood pressure. I feel they neglected my husband.

Dr Ivan is very professional in his approach. He is a good listener and always offers useful advice. He is very generous with his time and genuinely cares for his patients. I feel that I am very fortunate to have Dr Ivan as my GP.

Addresses you in a demeaning and patronising way and made me feel stupid and bad within five seconds. Horrible doctor. If he can’t fix you, he gets intolerant and told me I was once “refusing his advice” because I didn’t think it was helpful! Can’t manage anyone with their own opinions. Dismissed me. Made me feel like utter rubbish.

I had a bad spine injury and I am a nhs doctor myself, got no help from the team at Ashley centre , they never saw me in person, just kept loading me with painkillers, no good continuous physio referral or even mri. I finally changed practice and got so much more help, referee to the neurosurgeon and regular physio. This practice has one of the worst reception staff, who are so rude.

Last year, I was in the midst of multiple new medical health issues and feeling desperate one day, in need of support. Got Dr Ivan. Said he couldn’t help me and I needed to go to the Epsom Hub. My current GP was retiring and he said: “I don’t know how your doctor has been helping you, but anyway, he’s leaving”. I had to call the Samaritans after that appointment. He seems to get irritated and uncomfortable with anything mental health - like that’s not the domain of primary care. Very upsetting for me and very uncomfortable.
