I have found that Dr Israa, always takes the time to discuss and explain clearly the key issues and course of action to be taken.

I felt it important to write a review about Dr Israa Al-Shakarchi as I have seen many excellent doctors however Dr Al-Shakarchi is outstanding. Having not seen her for some time and seeing her again this week, highlighted how one feels in safe hands, Dr Al-Shakarchi makes you feel like she, is treating you as an individual not just processing you as a condition. I can honestly my condition because of the knowledge I have been gained, along with my improved outlook, can be attributed to Dr Al-Shakarchi. It is so lovely to have her back.

SO thorough. Full examination. Not pressurised at all by time, asked hundreds of questions to get a diagnosis. An EXCELLENT Doctor. Very professional yet approachable. Informative and helpful. Couldn’t fault it.

I understand the time pressures on Doctors and Consultants but the time spent with Dr Al-Shakarchi was the first time I felt heard. I was fortunate enough to have the last appointment and she was willing to spend time with me to pull together pieces of my varied and diverse medical history to give me a diagnosis after many years of being passed around. I cannot speak highly enough of her. I love her approach, she is a straight talker with compassion and treated my like an intelligent adult not a patient who shouldn't really be told what is going on with them and feeling like a burden. The only constructive feedback I can give is that the first appointment with any consultant should be longer with a patient which would hopefully mitigate the need for unnecessary appointments in the future.
