Dr Ioannis Ntanos did more than listen to me, he cared so deeply about the whole experience being a once in a life time decision and the outcome. He always had time for questions and was extremely easy to talk to. The hospital in Athens was exceptional and the surgical team with Dr Ioannis Ntanos were so kind to me, making me feel super safe and well taken care of. My recovery was pretty much painless, my scars are literally perfect and placed perfectly, Dr Ioannis Ntanos did exactly what I wanted when it came to shape and positioning. I would highly recommend Dr Ioannis Ntanos to anyone looking to get top surgery, it’s so special to have a surgeon who is a trans activist and who understand the struggles of trans people. I will forever be in gratitude to Dr Ioannis Ntanos, he is a wonderful kind and caring human being.

Ioannis was amazing! He created a welcoming and understanding atmosphere and always checked to ensure I was comfortable. The nurses were incredible—supportive, caring, and attentive throughout my experience. The surgeon made me feel completely at ease, and I trusted him to perform this life-changing procedure, which is something that does not come easily for me. He respected my wishes and did everything he could to ensure I was happy with my results. The bedside manner of the nurses was excellent. Dr Ntanos was very professional and caring throughout the whole process. Everyone at the Cadogan Clinic was very reassuring and kind to me the whole time. Dr Ntanos would always reply very quickly (like within the day, if not within the hour) to emails if I ever had any questions. The time from consultation to surgery was amazing (only about 2 months). He was thorough and clear in explaining potential risks of the operation during the consultation and he listened to what I wanted with my results and delivered. Procedure and recovery went very smoothly, no issues. I cannot recommend Dr Ioannis Ntanos enough (and I also cannot thank him enough), I felt safe and listened to during the entire process. If you're hesitating about choosing Dr Ntanos, go for it! Him and the people at the Cadogan Clinic are amazing.

My experience of Ioannis and this clinic was fantastic. Everyone was lovely – the nurses, the admin team, my anaesthetist, and of course my surgeon Ioannis. The information was clear, and when I had questions or needed help, people were fast & friendly in responding and finding a solution for me. My surgeon, Ioannis, was extremely thorough and clear in making sure I understood my procedure and had all of my options and choices explained to me – I felt well informed and in control. He was also extremely friendly and reassuring! I felt MUCH calmer about everything after speaking with him. The procedure itself went SO smoothly – the clinic made my visit so calm, it was less stressful than some regular trips to the doctors! I’m so happy with the results, and my recovery was far, far smoother and easier than what I’d read from others online. This is also such a trans-friendly space: I felt safe, understood, and in very safe hands. If you’re thinking about top surgery, I massively recommend this team.

The entire process with Ioannis was amazing start to finish. He was very kind and reassuring. Booking the surgery was made easy with no issues. On the day him and his team were so comforting, I never felt scared or anxious due to their reassurance. The whole thing was completely professional and efficient. The aftercare was easy and Ioannis was on hand through WhatsApp the entire time whenever I needed advice. Cannot recommend enough!

Mr Ntanos was very professional before, during, and after surgery. He listened to what I wanted out of top surgery and advised what would be the different outcomes for the different types of surgery available.

I had my surgery with Dr Ntanos on 7th August 2024 (just over a year ago!) at the Pines Hospital. I felt comfortable throughout the process, from arriving at the hospital to waking up afterwards. His team was very kind to me and helped me feel at ease. I didn't require assistance after I was discharged however it was good to have his number in case any issues did occur.
