The quality of care from Dr Ntanos was outstanding. The initial consultation was very thorough, and I was made to feel as comfortable and prepared as possible. We discussed any possible risks and how best to mitigate these which helped me feel more confident in the procedure. The surgery itself went smoothly and I am delighted with my results. We have been in contact about post-operative care and any issues I had were taken care of as soon as possible. I would recommend Dr Ntanos to anyone looking to undergo top surgery, as he is very knowledgeable and his bedside manner is 10/10.

I had top surgery with Mr Ntanos in Jan 2023 as a private patient. Throughout the entire process, I was very impressed by his attentiveness and caring attitude. I always felt respected by him, and appreciated his emphasis upon my understanding and input at every stage — a perfect expression of the principle of informed consent. On the day of my surgery, Mr Ntanos was a very calming presence, and involved me as much as possible in decision making about the specific aesthetic outcomes I was seeking. After the surgery, Mr Ntanos came to check on me to see how I was and to let me know how it went, including telling me that he had to connect my scars during the procedure. He'd informed me about the possibility of this beforehand, so it didn't come as a shock or disappointment, and everything else went very well. I returned to Manchester 2 weeks later to have my dressings removed, and Mr Ntanos made the experience quick and painless. I particularly appreciated him immediately reassuring me that my nipple grafts were healthy, which I was grateful for after 2 weeks of suspense! My scar and nipple placement was exactly what I was hoping for, and I was well informed by Mr Ntanos about how to protect and care for my incisions at home. Following my discharge from the hospital, I was able to send him any worries or queries I had via WhatsApp, and gain reassurance/advice regarding my healing. He has responded to all of my questions very promptly, and I have always felt well supported throughout the healing process, which has gone smoothly overall. It is now 7 months on from my surgery, and my results look absolutely fantastic. I am extremely happy with my new chest, and I cannot recommend Mr Ntanos highly enough.

I had an amazing experience with Dr Ntanos, I had top surgery (Double incision with free nipple grafts). In my consultation Dr Ntanos was welcoming and comforting and listed a lot of information and showed me lots of results including all body types (I'd recommend taking something to write down information on as I found I was forgetting things as soon as I left the clinic). I had also prepared a list of questions beforehand which he answered and encouraged me to ask questions to address any of my concerns. He also had to do a physical exam which he did quickly as he knew I was uncomfortable, he measured my chest quickly, wrote down the measurements and left me behind the curtain to get myself dressed. I was completely comfortable in his presence. He did not make me feel bad for binding too often (15 hours a day+) but expressed that I should stop this 2-3 weeks before the surgery, this was something I was worried about as over binding is often looked down upon (as it can cause injury) but this was something I felt I had to do pre operation. I booked my top surgery then and there for 7 months after. On my surgery date I arrived at the Pines hospital at 7:30 ( I could take one person in with me but they had to leave whilst I was in surgery and come back when I woke up ) the nurses were very welcoming and took me to my room, they gave me a gown and compression socks and told me to put them on as soon as possible (I'd recommend taking a dressing gown and slippers). The nurses came and admitted me, did my blood tests and gave me menus for me to fill out. The room was very nice and I passed the time by watching the TV as I was very nervous. Dr Ntanos saw me before my operation to draw on my chest and asked me if I had any last minute concerns or questions. I was told I would be having the surgery at 11 and I was taken up to theater by one of the nurses at 10:40. Every one there was very nice and one doctor spoke to me whilst I was laid there and every thing was getting prepared (This really helped as I was very nervous at this time) I saw Dr Ntanos briefly before I was put under. I woke up in a similar room at around 1:20 and was taken back up to my room. I was told I could leave the same day as long as I could eat, drink and use the toilet. All the nurses were very nice and tested my blood pressure and brought my food and drink. Dr Ntanos came to see me before I left and checked my chest and gave me the all clear. I was given a pack to take home which included pain medication, information leaflets and some cute stickers from Dr Ntanos. Dr Ntanos also gave me his personal number to contact him if I had any questions which I did a few times with almost instant responses (Even on weekends). I recently had my 2 weeks post op appointment which went just as well, he removed my dressings and my post op binder and said all looked good and recommended I kept my post op binder for any one else who needs it. Overall I had a great experience with Dr Ntanos, he not only is an amazing surgeon but is also a huge ally for the LGBT+ community and is constantly campaigning for equality.
