Dr Ilan Lieberman

I have been under the care of Dr Lieberman for a number of years for both back and knee pain. His listens to you and explains options in full details in language that a non medical person can understand. He doesn’t give up on you if treatment isn’t helping he just tries something different. After leaving my consultation I always feel that he has listened and I am confident he will help me to get my pain under control.

Dr Lieberman has an excellent patient manner, he took the time to listen to me and understand my pain. I felt so relieved and confident, after suffering for many years, that I would gain control over my pain and not let it dominate and dictate my life. I could not ask for a more supportive physician.

Pain free due this Doctor and his amazing staff for the first time in over 3 years they have now diagnosed the area which my chronic pain is coming, I can be referred to the relevant department to fix the long standing issue. After being treated for pain from my spine the doctor discussed options and areas pain also may be referred from he injected into my hip with anaesthetic in less then 3 minutes the pain had stopped this was only to diagnose the source I am so happy with this service ( Light at the end of the long tunnel)

I am under the care of Dr Lieberman for the second time in 9 years.As a patient I feel Dr Lieberman sees you as a whole person,not just a medical diagnosis.He took the time to listen and explain,with diagrams,what he thought was the best treatment and what to expect.He shows respect and empathy and I trust him completely regarding the suggested treatment.I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care he has shown,previously and as a current patient.

My first time meeting this excellent doctor today. He has advised me of further medical procedures he will be able to perform to r sure I get a better quality of life with my chronic pain condition. He was vey polite with a sympathetic attitude towards me at the same time. Very good replacement for the amazing Dr DeMelo. I have seen dr Liebermann at Alexandra with male pelvic pain problems. My problem was outside Doctor scope of work but he didn’t let me go empty handed. He referred me to specialist who helped. Dr Liebermann charged nothing for his time with me and his help. I can’t recommend him enough, very compassionate, calm man who knows what patient needs. You will be looked after under his care, highly recommended.

Dr Lieberman really listens to you. I’m a below knee amputee for four years with phantom pain, neuropathy, fibromyalgia and type 1 diabetes. I’ve been in pain every night for four years. Was on tramadol, cbd, morphine and cannabis but still in agony. Tried a lidocaine infusion and was shocked. I felt no pain for four weeks, I managed to sleep as well. It’s still working now months later even though I feel a little. Dr Lieberman is a miracle worker. Thank you from the bottom and f my heart. This dr is amazing.

I have been under the care of Dr Lieberman for about 10 years. He is always very professional , but also puts you at ease. I always have the same procedure , but he still explains every step. He has a good rapport with all his colleagues and I would recommend him and the Pain clinic at Wythenshawe Hospital.

After five years of agony I have finally found someone who listens intently and has made more suggestions in this consultation than any other medical professional has in five years.
