Dr Wilkinson was very thorough is his examination of me and explained everything about my condition and totally put my mind at rest. From being very concerned about my problem to understanding what was going with my heart. Great doctor.

Professor Wilkinson had a nice manner. He was clear about my diagnosis. He listened and repsonded when I described my symptoms. He looked at my test results to inform my diagnosis. He gave advice on how to manage my condition. I felt like he gave me choices re medication - we agreed that I wouldn't take medication now, but that he would advise my GP on a regime, should I ever feel I need it. He asked if I had any questions, so I asked about my son, as my condition runs in families. He was kind enough to talk about how my condition manifests differently in boys. He was knowledgeable about my other conditions (which is unusual!), and we talked about how these affect the topic of the phonecall.

Having struggled with my blood pressure for decades a medically qualified friend suggested I seek an appointment with Professor Wilkinson. He answered my email by return. After a very thorough initial consultation he arranged a range of tests and follow-up consultations, and has recommended changes to my medication which have proved highly effective. My blood pressure is now much better controlled with fewer pills and without side effects. He is a wonderful listener, explains his thinking clearly and inspires confidence. I just wish I had met him 30 years ago!

I have been under Prof. Wilkinson's care for much o the last year due to hypertension. The care and expertise I have experienced from him and his team is phenomenal. They unfailingly seek evidence through a wide variety of techniques on a regular basis and are assiduous in trying new drugs and combinations to address the condition. I have been deeply impressed by his care and expertise throughout and feel extremely fortunate to be looked after by him and his excellent team.
