Dr Ian Bayles will be greatly missed now he is retiring. He has been my doctor for over 10 years, and has always provided great care. He explains your problem as if talking to an equal, and listens to any feedback you have to offer. Your views are always taken into consideration. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr Bayles for 20+ years, and have never wavered in my belief that he is an excellent GP, one of the "old style" who engages with me on an equal professional basis. His clinical strengths include his capacity to listen, to consider, to pursue contrary evidence which in turn is reflected in his diagnoses. He is very experienced and knowledgeable; despite his heavy workload, he is a well organised GP from a patient perspective. If he says that he will take action eg writing a referral to the local hospital, it will happen - and speedily. He has a great sense of humour and a capacity to convey both good and bad news in a sensitive and supportive manner. He is empathetic and yet pragmatic; his advice is always well tempered and appropriate. I have been very fortunate in having had him as my GP for so long, and shall miss him greatly as he heads towards retirement.

Dr Bayles is a fantastic GP. Always kind, compassionate, and effective. He gets things done , sorts out problems and chases things up if necessary. You could not ask for a more thorough, sensitive and helpful Dr.

An excellent surgery with polite and courteous staff. The nurses and Doctors are all capable and efficient. Dr.Bayles attends to both my wife and myself and frankly we consider ourselves most fortunate in having such a dedicated and experienced person looking after our needs. His manner and sense of humour go a long way to putting patients at ease which makes it almost a pleasure to be ill! At times it can be difficult in making an appointment without encountering a delay but this is not a criticism of the Surgery but rather a reflection of our times with many more elderly people seeking assistance and too few doctors available to give it. The impression given is one of overworked establishments not just with Seaford but throughout the Southeast.
