If I could give Dr Ali one hundred stars I would. A dermatologist of exceptional ability and I owe the existence of every hair on my head to her brilliance and expertise. Always cheerful, always hopeful, always kind, always patient. As genuinely interested in you as a person as the condition she is treating. A truly lovely lovely person and I just wish that I could put myself in her wonderful care for every aspect of medicine. The kind of doctor who everyone would love to have and those who do pass through her hands will realise how lucky they are to have had their lives touched by her.

From the moment I met Dr Ali, I breathed an inward sigh of relief. Here was somebody who was obviously completely committed to their special sphere of medicine, and whose air of quiet command gave one complete confidence. Her knowledge, expertise and experience were immediately evident, as was her kind and sympathetic manner. The plan of treatment she instigated had immediate beneficial effect, and over the months of the treatment, Dr Ali would reply to any emailed queries or problems that arose, nine times out of ten on the same day. No red tape, no procedural delays, Dr Ali's practice is medicine at its best.

Not great. Consultation felt very rushed as she was running late. Then I sent over my blood tests to her secretary which never got passed on. I also queried my prescribed medication so I could know the exact dosage and for how long. 3 weeks later, I chased and finally heard back - a very brief email. Prescription dosage never clarified and she still hadn’t looked over my blood tests. I asked her to have a look through and revise her consultation review. This never happened. I think there is a lack of communication between her and her secretaries. I also think she is extremely busy and you are one of many many patients to her so not that important.
