This Dr,put me to sleep at the Qmc, for my above knee amputation. He is so professional, friendly and polite.He explained everything he was doing. Asked me if I had any questions but I didn't because he had explained everything.He really put me at ease.So Thank you very much Dr.Farquar.He was so nice and that is why I remembered his name. Dr Farquhar was the anesthetist for my micro discectomy. He asked me about, listened to and acted on my concerns. His manner was very reassuring and gave me confidence. I also saw him the day after the operation when he gave me clear information about what had happened. I would definitely be happy to see Dr Farquhar again, although hopefully I wont need to!

I was very impressed with Dr. Iain Farquhar's care. I had problems with high blood pressure and allergies. His questioning and manner were very reassuring. He explained the procedure well and his calm but confident delivery of the anaesthetic was also reassuring. I was impressed by his pain management after the procedure. I felt well cared for and safe with Dr. Iain Farquhar.

1.Pre-operation in Rufford Ward. Dr. Farquhar explained every step of the anaesthetic procedure and its purpose in clear and understandable detail,and was prepared to listen and answer any questions. His manner was confident , also approachable and friendly. 2Op.Theatre Anaesthetic Room. Mainly as above, but on practical level proved to be a master of his craft and at the same time held the interest of the patient of utmost importance. After operation in Rufford Ward.Dr. Farquhar returned to the ward later to discuss aftercare and any potential problems and their solutions. All in all a very positive experience, Dr. Farquhar instills complete confidence for a successful outcome, he is a credit to his profession.
