If being an anaesthetist was an Olympic sport, Dr Hywel Jones would get gold everytime. He made my whole experience at the hospital fantastic form start to finish. The raport he has with his fellow colleagues is heart warming and he just makes you feel happy from the get go. He explained what he would be doing in very simple terms but was also laughing and joking which put everyone at ease. When it came time for me to be put to sleep he could see I was panicked and he grabbed my hand without a second thought and made me feel comforted and safe. I could even hear him laughing as I drifted off which was the best feeling. When I was in the recovery room he came in to check on me and again was all full of smiles and laughter. He is one of life's genuinely nice and lovely gentlemen and I'm so happy I had him at my side for the surgery. I can't recommend him enough

Dr Jones made me feel really comfortable and calm about going into surgery, i definitely trusted him 100% which makes it all easier! He is a really friendly happy man, genuinely seems like such a lovely person!
