Dr Hywel Jones was my Anaesthetist for a Hemithyroidectomy performed in February 2019. He explained exactly what was going to happen before, during and after the operation and I was extremely impressed with his manner and resassurance. It would be nice if all Anaesthetists were as pleasant and informative

I was so nervous to go under anaesthetic. There was completely no need to be with this amazing doctor. He explained everything to me in a manner that I understood, made sure I was happy to go through with the operation even up until the last minute. I was very nervous on the theatre table and he kept me calm and talking. All I remember now is saying "My face feels fuzzy" and I woke up with the procedure done and dusted. I had nothing to be afraid or nervous for, what a wonderful doctor and a great team working alongside him. Thank you all so much, I could not wish for a better team.
