Dr Jones has always carefully explained the various aspects of my arthritis in a manner that is informative and easily understood without being patronising or overwhelming. He shows a sincere interest in my general health and welfare and has helped me obtain appropriate treatment for conditions other than my RA. I would and do trust him with my life and I have to say that he is one of the most wonderful Doctors I've ever had dealings with. His caring and warm personality have been a constant during the many years I have been his patient and I always feel better just seeing him and having his positive, professional and friendly instructions on how to manage my pain and make the most of my life.

I am a student who has attended Dr Hugh Jones' clinic as part of my recent placement. Throughout the clinic he demonstrated a very good relationship with his patients. I found him to be amicable, knowledgeable and professional. All patients seemed very pleased with the care they receive from Dr Jones and left the clinic happy. I would be happy for myself, a family member or friend to be treated by Dr Jones.

Dr Jones saw my knee that I have been struggling with recently. I didn't feel like I was being rushed or pushed and he had a very logical and clear way of explaining things. Couldn't ask for anymore.

He makes no prior assumptions about his patient but listens carefully to what they have to say, makes his judgement and is clear and forthright in explaining his diagnosis and proposed treatment. He obviously understands that going to hospital can be an intimidating process for many and therefore goes to great lengths to ensure the patient's understanding of the process and that they are comfortable and reassured at all times, welcomes questions and is never patronising in his answers, despite his obvious professional capabilities.
