Dr Jones really listens to the problem as perceived by the patient, and so his clinical judgement is truly informed by their personal experience. As a result I trust his analysis and his therapies have been extremely effective to date. (For example, an X-ray guided facet joint injection resulted in an instant cure of excruciating pain). I feel included in the process whilst being aware that I am benefiting from his vast knowledge of this area of medicine. He also has an enormously positive approach to the treatment and this is very helpful when confronting the difficulties of a long term condition that can only get worse with time.

Dr Jones makes you feel at ease! His bedside manner and sense of humour help to make you feel comfortable. He is happy to answer questions, and I articulate in his responses, using analogies to help the patient understand the complexities of their diagnosis. Furthermore I would like to note that his medical secretary Rosie is the consummate professional and incredibly helpful. Her telephone manner is superb.

Doctor Hugh Jones is always reassuring, positive and smiling. A consultation with him is a tonic in itself and I always leave feeling better for having seen him. I have never felt rushed and any queries, however trivial, have always been answered with clarity and kindness. Having worked as a medical secretary for some years (albeit a long time ago!) Hugh Jones is, in my opinion, everything that a doctor should be!
