She is the best Doctor I have ever been to . She is thorough , attentive , inspires confidence and never hesitates to refer for appropriate tests and regular reviews of bloods , blood pressure etc . With more doctors like her lives will be saved . I am very fortunate to have found her

I never ever have to wait for an appointment to see the doctor, nurse or phlebotomist at this surgery. I hear a number of friends say they have to wait for week at least for an appointment to see their GP. The reception staff treat patients with understanding and caring. Dr Khan Gilbert always takes the time needed for each patient, and doesn't worry if it takes extra time, because other patients get the same treatment they are happy to wait a little time extra. The only downfall is parking however if you wait a short time you can get a parking spot. Sheila Coombs

I had a breakdown last year and also a hernia op and varicose vein treatment.Her treatment of me was exemplary.She always errs on the side of caution,and actively ensures that she gets you treated as soon as possible.She has been very supportivery to me ,and her input has helped me recover in a shorter time.Quality GP. Dr Khan-Gilbert is the best Doctor I have ever seen and I am over 50 years old, so I have seen a few. She is always very caring, listens to everything that you have to say and her diagnostic skills are second to none (even when you don't tell her all of the problems - she just knows!). Last summer I was feeling particularly poorly and within a matter of weeks she had arranged several scans, numerous consultants visits, confirmed diagnosis on all problems and really couldn't do enough for me. The support that she showed during this time and indeed after, are without doubt above and beyond what a normal Doctor would provide. There were times that I was actually particularly depressed about how I was feeling and she offered the utmost support and reassurances. I would go as far as saying that without her efforts, I don't think that I would now be back to work full time and indeed able to have such good outlook on life. I owe her more than a lot.

Always goes out of her way to ensure that you have the best care available. Very much try's to get to the bottom of any problems that you present with. Feel really confident when I have an appointment with her.

Dr Khan-Gilbert is one of the most conscientious experienced medical professionals I have worked with. She is an excellent diagnostician and highly knowledgeable GP. Patients who have experienced her care all refer to her in the highest complimentary terms saying that she is caring, compassionate and attentive She seeks a comprehensive understanding with the patient of the nature of any health problems and takes the time to listen to their concerns. Dr Khan Gilbert has been treating me for more than 10 years for a number of conditions. She is always courteous and professionally thorough in consultations and always listens carefully to what I have to say. There is a real sense of 'partnership' and dialogue in relation to my health. Dr Khan Gilbert always explains, in language I can understand, decisions she makes eg referral to specialists, in prescribing medication, in recommending treatment . . . I have the fullest confidence in Dr Khan Gilbert and am extremely grateful that she is my GP. I would like to thank her for all the professional care and advice she has provided over the years, and which she continues to do. I was particularly grateful to Dr Khan Gilbert for her very prompt professional action last autumn, in referring me to the Surgical Assessment Unit at East Surrey Hospital, when I developed a diverticular abscess, which subsequently perforated, resulting in surgery and long hospitalisation. I have no doubt that her prompt and professional action on this occasion was a very significant factor in an eventually successful outcome.
