My Mum developed Type 1 diabetes age 89 after successful cancer treatment. She had 5 hospital admissions including High Dependancy unit in12 months. The NHS just used sticking plasters, they didn’t look at the whole picture and didn’t spend enough time really understand what was really happening. Her blood sugars were dangerously high and we were at the end of our tether. Until I found this fantastic Dr. He took time to properly listen, he totally changed her treatment & followed up properly with GP. She is at last stable, thank you so much .
