Make more evening appointments available as my condition seems to be worse in the evening and it is important to see the doctor when l am at my worst so they can see it then. The last time l tried to get an evening appointment it was two weeks in the future which was no good to me.

Hilke comes to the waiting room to collect you as it were and then welcomes you into her surgery. She invites you to speak and then listens. She allows for two way discussion. It is clear from the way the conversation progresses that she reads a patients notes. Her knowledge is very wide, which is complemented by referring to books if needed. Once, I needed a steroid jab which she was able to administer there and then. I don't like jabs but this was carried out superbly and I had no problems with it. You leave the surgery knowing what the plan is.
