Dr Helgi was the anaesthetist during my umbilical hernia surgery.
Meeting Dr Helgi at the consultation before the operation, I was reassured that I was in the hands of a competent professional and that my umbilical hernia was a common condition. After the required health questions, we discussed the level of anaesthesia that I wished to have which I’m my case was a light as possible. I would certainly recommend having minor surgery under sedation, I was even in a fit condition to drive from London - Cornwall just 2 hours after the operation, and made it!
Professional, friendly, interesting and competent are the words I would use to describe Dr Helgi. If I am ever in the unfortunate position to require anaesthesia again, I will be requesting Dr Helgi.
